Pre-Ordering Questions

How long has Satori Publishing been supplying puzzles to newspapers?
Since 1993.

I have more than one publication. What should I do?
Send in a separate order for each publication you want to publish the puzzles in. You will receive a separate license for each publication.

Do you have themed puzzles?
No, we have a single line of puzzles.

Do you have children's puzzles?
No, we have a single line of puzzles.

Do you have puzzles in varying degrees of difficulty?
The crosswords and Enigma cryptograms have the same level of difficulty. The Sudoku puzzles vary in difficulty; the number of "stars" at the lower right-hand corner of the puzzle reflect the difficulty of that puzzle (on a level of one to four). Sudoku puzzles are delivered in sequence: the first puzzle is least difficult, the second puzzle is a little more difficult, and so on. After the most difficult puzzle is sent, the sequence begins again (i.e., the least difficult puzzle is sent).

How difficult are your puzzles?
The crossword puzzles are comparable in difficulty to the New York Times crossword puzzle.

I noticed you have a 13x13 grid for the crossword puzzles. Are other layouts available?
Currently only 13x13 grids are available.

After Ordering Questions

When I ordered, I noticed I was asked for my address. If you are shipping via email, why do you need to know my address?
We collect sales tax for orders placed within Indiana, so we need to know where you are ordering from. Also, we need an alternate address in case your spam filter is blocking our emails from reaching you.

I noticed the puzzles have an answer grid. How do I keep track of what answer grid goes with what puzzle?
There is a "key code" at the bottom of each puzzle. For crosswords and Enigma cryptograms, the answers for the previous puzzle is within the puzzle itself. See the samples page for a clear example. The Sudoku answer is a separate entity, which is supplied with the puzzle.

What about reorders?
We keep track of your prior orders. So subsequent orders will always be the next puzzle in the series. For example, if your first order consisted of puzzles A001 through A012, your reorder will start with puzzle A013.

But what happens when I reorder? I don't want to receive the same puzzles I ordered before!
We keep track of your prior orders. The puzzles you recieve will be the next in sequence. For example, if your first order was Crossword Puzzles A001, A002 and A003, your next order will have the puzzles A004, A005 and A006.

Where are the answers to the puzzles?
The answer for every puzzle is sent as a separate file along with your order. For crosswords and Enigma cryptograms, the answer is contained within the next puzzle in the series as well. See the samples for an example. So when you reorder, the answer for the last puzzle in your prior order will be supplied.
